Aleksandar started his career in law enforcement in 2007 with the Serbian Ministry of Interior as a border police officer. In 2011 he moved to the Uniformed Police Directorate at the headquarters of the Ministries of Interior.

Here, Aleksandar worked on police organization, development and community policing. In 2014 he was appointed by the Minister of Internal Affairs to become the national police liaison officer for the LGBTI population.

Aleksandar holds a Bachelor Degree of Law and has the Serbian rank of captain of police.
