Paul Franey is an Irish police sergeant, police trainer and coach with 16 years policing experience. He has worked in response, community policing, human resources and now works in management support. He is a founder of the Garda LGBT network. He is also a board member and former Vice-President of the European Gay Police Association. Paul has developed LGBT training materials for police officers on behalf of the EGPA. He has delivered training to police officers in Ireland and to police officers from across Europe at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. He recently developed and delivered the first ever LGBT training program for police officers in Greece. Paul has a degree in Sociology and Politics, a Masters Degree in Public Management and is a qualified life coach and career coach.
