Petrik Thomann is a police officer from Zürich, Switzerland. He started his police service in 2004 and was co-founder of PinkCop Switzerland in 2008. From 2009 to 2013 he studied criminology at the university of Bern, Switzerland. Petrik wrote his thesis on homo- and transphobic crime in Switzerland. In 2015 his thesis led to a national project to collate facts and figures about this issue. In April 2016 he was elected President of the “European LGBT Police Association” (EGPA).
